In Retrospect...

In retropsect, we should have started this blog at least 8 months ago ... but I suppose the old cliche "better late than never" applies here. Aidan is now 7 months and 2 weeks old! He's already hit some major milestones that I'll share in various upcoming posts. He's currently getting comfortable with crawling and this past week, has started exploring the outlying corners of our living and dining rooms. His favorite game is to pull himself up on Mom or Dad and then letting go with one hand... so he's standing on his own, holding on with one hand. He's so proud of this accomplishment! 

Last weekend, Aidan discovered his tongue! And now loves every opportunity to stick it out. Very cute and funny most of the time... but when you combine this with his love to stare at strangers - it can make for an awkward moment for Mom and Dad (especially with those who don't find this cute or funny). 

When he's not sticking his tongue out at strangers, Aidan is babbling! Just in the past week, he's really begun to try new sounds and babbles for longer periods of time. Its so much fun to imagine what he's really saying! 

So here's to our first blog post and many more future babbling....
